My idea for rescued bears came about mainly because of my love for animals. At one point our family included 9 rescued cats, 2 dogs, several rabbits, hamsters, and a ferret....While I would love to be able to rescue all homeless pets, this idea is just not at all practical.

My other great love is teddy bears and doing crafts. Over the years I've rescued and collected dozens of teddy bears so it only seemed logical to put two passions together ad help save both....forgotten teddy bears and unwelcome pets.
